 Hand made jewellery gifts from our own workshop.

 

I started work in 1954 on a six year apprentice at 10 Hatton Garden as a diamond mounter, on completion and after National Service I returned to Hatton Garden to start my own manufacturing Jewellers.

We did most of the work for the most exclusive jewellers in Bond Street and after 10 years we went into retail with our first shop, James Aldridge Jewellers in Chancery Lane London we ran that for 35 years. Our next shop, Hadleigh Jewellers, Marylebone High Street W1 for 30 years. Our last shop Jewel House, Mayfair, Landsdon Row Berkeley SQ.

We have also been fortunate to work creating and selling hand crafted items for many famous people, from film stars, to celebrities, television stars, sports stars and Royalty.

 

On retiring, my wife and I travelled the country selling antique jewellery until we moved up to Lincoln. Living  beneath the flight path of RAF Coningsby, in bomber command country the home of the famous Dam Busters, has inspired me to create a tribute to the amazing aircraft. I now spend my time making silver Lancaster, Spitfire, Vulcan, Eurofighter and Lightning aircraft jewellery and gifts.
